<p>Disclosed is a primer set for specifically amplifying a target region in MTHFR gene by a nucleic acid amplification method. A primer set, which comprises a primer set (1) that contains an F1 primer and an R1 primer and a primer set (2) that contains an F2 primer and an R2 primer, is used. For example, the primer set makes it possible to amplify two target regions simultaneously in a single reaction mixture, said target regions respectively containing sites at which two kinds of polymorphism of MTHFR gene occur.
