PURPOSE: A parking prevention system using a bracket which is installed in a parking line is provided to facilitate the use of a bracket by raising or lowering a parking prevention unit installed in the bracket when a vehicle moves close to or away from the bracket. CONSTITUTION: A parking prevention system using a bracket which is installed in a parking line comprises a key input unit, a signal transmission controller, a signal transmission unit, a vehicle detection unit(102), a bracket up-down controller(104), and a driving unit(106). The key input unit is for inputting user commands to a vehicle. The signal transmission unit transmits signals of natural frequency under the control of the signal transmission controller. The vehicle detection unit receives the signals from the signal transmission unit to detect a vehicle. The bracket up-down controller determines the distance to the vehicle from the signals received in the vehicle detection unit and raises or lowers a parking prevention unit installed in a bracket according to the distance. The driving unit lowers the parking prevention unit when the distance is less than the specific distance and raises the parking prevention unit when the distance is greater than the specific distance.
