<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence device of high efficiency and long life. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence device is structured of an anode as well as a cathode, and an organic compound layer pinched between the anode and the cathode and containing a light-emitting layer consisting of a first light-emitting layer provided on an anode side, and a second light-emitting layer provided on a cathode side. A first host and a first dopant are contained in the first light-emitting layer, and a second host and a second dopant are contained in the second light-emitting layer, a following relation (a) holding good between the first host and the first dopant, a following relation (b) holding good between the second host and the second dopant, and a following relation (c) holding good between the first host and the second host.
