METHOD OF ANTENNA MEASUREMENT AND METHOD OF ANTENNA CALIBRATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of antenna measurement for reducing the effect of reflection from surrounding objects and errors owing thereto, and a method of calibration. SOLUTION: This method of antenna measurement for finding an antenna coefficient or operation gain on at least one of first to third antennas and this method of calibration include: a distance changing step for parting one as a transmission antenna from another as a reception antenna by a prescribed distance to change the inter-antenna distance by prescribed spacing; a measurement step for measuring a transmission coefficient from the transmission antenna to the reception antenna as to each of distances changed in the changing step; a compensation step for compensating the transmission coefficient based on the transmission coefficient from the transmission antenna to the reception antenna as to each of the distances changed in the changing step and a compensation coefficient for compensating a phase lag according to that distance; and an operation step for calculating the antenna coefficient or the operation gain based on a compensated transmission coefficient compensated in the compensation step.
