PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a conventional analog-to-digital converter (ADC), correction processing can not be performed on an analog input signal of any arbitrary signal level. SOLUTION: The ADC has a high-order ADC 11 which outputs a high-order digital value DCA; a first low-order converter 12 which converts a first residual signal FINA into a first low-order digital value DFA; a second low-order converter 13 which converts a second residual signal FINB into a second low-order digital value DFB; and a calibration circuit 14 which outputs first and second offset adjusting signals ADJA, ADJB designating offset adjustment amounts of polarities, which are reverse to each other, based on a differential between the first and second low-order digital values DFA and DFB. The first and second low-order converters 12 and 13 set conversion correction values based on the first and second offset adjusting signals ADJA and ADJB and correct the first and second low-order digital values DFA and DFB based on the conversion correction values.
