PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor enabling resetting to resolve a lock phenomenon while supplementing detection of a start defect by a WDT (Watchdog Timer) function. SOLUTION: This information processor includes: a first reset means outputting a clear signal for clearing a count value clocked by a watchdog timer at a prescribed period, and resetting when the count value times out; a storage means storing a BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) including a program for making the clear signal and a general-purpose signal except the clear signal to be output from specific hardware of the own processor; a start means executing the BIOS stored in the storage means according to turning-on of a power supply; a clocking means starting the clocking according to the turning-on of the power supply; a decision means deciding whether or not the general-purpose signal is output until a clocking time by the clocking means passes over a prescribed time; and a second reset means for resetting when it is decided by the decision means that the general-purpose signal is not output.
