PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for covering a sleeve preventing the sleeve from soiling, easy to attach and detach, and looking good when wearing, in view of the fact that when wearing Japanese clothes and going out, a wearer worries about soiling of the sleeve of Japanese clothes when washing hands in a washroom or having a meal together. SOLUTION: The tool for covering a sleeve is such that a pair of right and left sleeve covers 1 made of a cloth with water resistance and water repellency are connected by a U shape or inverse trapezoid shape string whose both the ends are each sewn on an intersection interval 12 between the sleeve-cap 11 of the right and left sleeve covers and the attaching sleeve 3 of the external sleeve.
