PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for collecting travel information being a guide indicating an installation place of a rest station. SOLUTION: A travel information collection system includes an operation data transmitter mounted to each of a plurality of vehicles, and a server device. The operation data transmitter includes a position data acquisition part, a continuous traveling time measurement part and an operation data transmission part. The position data acquisition part acquires position data during the traveling of the vehicle in time series. The continuous traveling time measurement part measures the continuous traveling time of the vehicle. The operation data transmission part transmits, as operation data, the position data and the continuous traveling time by wireless data communication. The server device includes an operation data acquisition part and an average time calculation part. The operation data acquisition part acquires operation data of the plurality of vehicles through wireless data communication. On the basis of the operation data, the average time calculation part calculates an average value of the continuous traveling time of vehicles passing a target selected by an external input among traveling passages which are based on the position data.
