PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trash removal device for water channels capable of smoothly removing and recovering trash or the like having various shapes and sizes in flow water and being maintained at an inexpensive cost and having a simple structure. SOLUTION: The trash removal device for water channels has a dust-tight screen 20 arranged in such a way as to traverse flowing water in a water channel 12. One side of the screen 20 which receives flowing water is pivoted in a width direction of the water channel to support the screen 20 rotation-freely on a first bearing part 28. A tank holding arm 24 extends from a water storage tank 22 having an opening part 22a at its upper section, and its tip part is supported in the direction of the flow of water on a second bearing part 32. The screen 20 and the tank holding arm 24 are connected to each other by a connecting link 34 for operatively connecting and rotating them in the same direction on the first and second bearing parts 28 and 32. The trash removal device has an injector pipe 42 for injecting water into the water storage tank 22.
