PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device capable of maintaining a compact constitution that can be inserted into an opening in a fuel tank while having a mechanism for maintaining pressure in fuel piping. SOLUTION: The fuel supply device 100 is inserted into a fuel tank 13 through an opening 13c in the fuel tank 13 and disposed there to supply fuel to an internal combustion engine via fuel piping 15. The fuel supply device includes: a cylindrical fuel pump unit 40 disposed with its axis direction matching the direction of the insertion of the fuel supply device 100 to pump up fuel; a pressure regulator 50 joined with the radial outside of the unit 40 to regulate the pressure of the fuel pumped up to predetermined pressure; and a residual pressure holding device 70 making the fuel discharged from the pressure regulator 50 circulate in the fuel piping 15, and to maintain the pressure of the fuel in the fuel piping 15 within a predetermined range. The residual pressure holding device 270 is located radially outside the fuel pump unit 40 and oppositely to the direction of insertion with respect to the pressure regulator 50.
