The present invention relates to a shark repellent which can be easily carried by people, is inexpensive, and enables ease of use, has a superior repelling effect and prevents a predator such as a shark or the like, which threatens people participating in marine activities, from approaching people, enables people to actively repel predators in the event of increased threats and also enables people to use the shark repellent over a long period time, and prevents damage to a battery, thus minimizing loss of life. The shark repellent of the present invention comprises: a battery; a first battery fixing and accommodating unit for fixing and accommodating the battery such that the poles of the battery are outwardly exposed; a portable joining member connected to the first battery fixing and accommodating unit to fix the battery and the first battery fixing and accommodating unit to a predetermined site; a tank unit connected to the first battery fixing and accommodating unit or to the portable joining member, and which holds a liquid material comprising a dye or a reflector; and a liquid material discharge unit coupled to the tank unit and having a discharge mechanism for discharging the liquid material in the tank unit to the outside.
