<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable in which a connector can be easily installed on the terminal and a wire harness having the flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: The wire harness 1 includes a connector 2 and a flat cable 3. The connector 2 has a connector housing 4 and a female terminal 5. The flat cable 3 has a plurality of electric wires 14 and a long weft 15. The female terminal 5 is installed at a terminal of each electric wire 14. The weft 15 has: cross-over portions 15a, 15c which are arranged by intersecting perpendicularly with the plurality of electric wires 14 and are arranged by rising and falling with a certain rule to the plurality of electric wires 14; and parallel portions 15b, 15d, 15e which are connected to the cross-over portions 15a, 15c and are superposed on the electric wires 14a, 14b located at the edge out of the plurality of electric wires 14.
