<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescent element, the method easily forming a desired structure for restraining total reflection generated at electrodes in a layer fitted between a pair of electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the organic electroluminescent element provided with a pair of electrodes and an organic layer with two or more layers fitted between the electrodes and containing a light-emitting layer as two or more organic layer includes: a step of forming one of the pair of electrodes; a step of forming two or more organic layer equipped with a periodic structure for tilting a travelling direction of light travelling in a direction vertical to a thickness direction of the light-emitting layer to that thickness direction; and a step of forming the other electrode of the pair. In the step of forming two or more organic layer, after laminating two or more flat-plate layers to be organic layers, the periodic structure arranged two-dimensionally and periodically on a vertical plane in a thickness direction of the light-emitting layer is formed by an imprinting method, on the flat-plate layers with the two or more layers laminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
