The lock has a leg spring (40) acting against locking of a locking gear. A driving lever (32) serves as a locking lever for blocking the locking gear during crash and acts together with the spring. The driving lever rotates a catch (4) from a preliminary locking position into a main locking position. The spring counteracts deflection of the driving lever in the main locking position so that opening of the locking gear is counteracted due to excessive forces. The spring is fastened at a lock plate (1).
