PURPOSE: Steel composition, an annulus gear for a transmission and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enahce quality due to less thermal deformation and to simplify processes by removing the need for annealing treatment. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing the annulus gear for a transmission comprises following steps. A material containing steel composition is cut. The material is cold-forged. After the cold-forging, a finishing process is performed. After being nitriding-treated, a target is quenching-treated. |
