PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is difficult to achieve a stable operation by suppressing speed variation for a specific control object. SOLUTION: The printer includes a motor which drives the control object, and a control part which detects a speed of the control object and performs PID control of driving of the motor on the basis of a difference between the detected speed and a target speed of the control object. The control part includes a gain computing part which obtains a speed variation amount of the specific control object in a predetermined period wherein the specific control object is operated by driving the motor (S120) and which corrects a predetermined constant for the PID control according to a correction ratio obtained on the basis of the speed variation amount (S160).
