PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle cleaning system capable of cleaning a nozzle more easily and more securely and improving productivity without causing complication of an internal mechanism of a gun body. SOLUTION: The nozzle cleaning system 1 includes: the gun body 3 having a coating material path 33 communicating with a coating material inlet 31 and a coating material outlet 32; the nozzle 4 mounted in the coating material outlet 32 and having a coating material injection port 41 communicating with the coating material path 33; and a cleaning implement 6 for cleaning the nozzle 4. The gun body 3 has a cleaning liquid outlet path 35 allowing a cleaning liquid outlet 36 to communicate with the coating material path 33 and a first needle 34 capable of opening/closing the coating material path 33. The cleaning implement 6 includes a cleaning liquid supply tool 61 and a nozzle 64 for cleaning. The nozzle 64 for cleaning is mounted on the nozzle 4, the coating material path 33 is closed by the first needle 34, and thereafter a cleaning liquid is sent from the nozzle 64 for cleaning to the coating material injection port 41 of the nozzle 4, so that the coating material injection port 41 is cleaned.
