PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric actuator capable of reliably executing the fully-closed or fully-opened operation of a valve in emergency, and reducing facility cost. SOLUTION: The electric actuator includes a control unit 22 and an electric storage device 14. The control unit 22 measures the accumulated energy amount in the electric storage device 14, and determines whether or not the measured accumulated energy amount has the energy amount capable of fully closing or opening a valve from the opening position of the valve based on the opening command value. If the measured accumulated energy does not have the energy capable of fully closing or opening the valve, the valve opening position is controlled while the position for fully closing or opening the valve is defined as the upper limit position in the opening direction or the closing direction.
