PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion component, photoelectric conversion module, and a method for the photoelectric conversion module that achieves a satisfactory yield rate and assembly workability. SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion component 11 includes: a ferrule 12 where a fiber insert hole 13, into which a built-in glass fiber 32 is inserted, is formed from a front end 12a to a rear end 12b; an electrode 14 that is provided in the front end 12a of the ferrule 12; and a positioning hole 24 that positions an optical connector 50 holding a coated optical fiber 42 to the rear end 12b of the ferrule 12 to be connected.
