PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device that can light up light-emitting diodes other than the open-defective light-emitting diodes, even if the number of open-defective ones of a plurality of series-connected light-emitting diodes is increased. SOLUTION: An LED lighting device 1 includes sidacs S1-Sn, disposed in pairs with light-emitting diodes LED1-LEDn (n is any integer number fulfilling n≥3) and resistors R1-Rn series-connected with the sidacs S1-Sn. One end of the sidac Sq (q is an arbitrary integer number of 1≤q≤n) is connected to the anode of the light-emitting diode LEDq, and the other end of the sidac Sq is connected to the cathode of the light-emitting diode LEDq via a resistor Rq.
