PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible flat circuit body enabling improvement of rigidity at bending deformation, thinning, and prevention of break of a conductor. SOLUTION: Conductors 3 and elastic conductors 5 of the flexible flat circuit body 1 are insulated as a whole by an insulation coating 7 over a whole area in a length direction of the flexible flat circuit body 1, with the conductors 3 and the elastic conductors 5 arranged at the center in a thickness direction of the flexible flat circuit body 1. The elastic conductors 5 have a given rigidity and elasticity free from buckling. Upon bending-deforming the flexible flat circuit body 1 in a thickness direction, its rigidity and elasticity become the same irrespective of bending directions, and have higher elasticity due to the elastic conductors 5. Therefore, a curvature radius of a position where bending deformation is caused gets large, that inhibits buckling and can prevent break of the conductors 3 at the bending-deformation position. Since the conductors 3 and the elastic conductors 5 are not stacked with each other, thinning of the flexible flat circuit body 1 can be achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
