PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture pain relieving tool for reducing the pain when driving a puncture needle into a body for dialysis or the like. SOLUTION: The puncture pain relieving tool comprises: a cooling device 11 enclosing a cold insulator 13 inside a container 12 formed of a synthetic resin; and a belt 16 for fixing the cooling device 11 to the body. A pair of hook-and-loop fasteners 14 and 18 are interposed to the surface of the cooling device 11 and the inner peripheral surface of the belt 16, and the cooling device 11 and the belt 16 are made freely attachable and detachable. When using the tool, only the cooling device 11 is frozen beforehand, then the cooling device 11 is held by the belt 16 and closely attached to the skin to cool body tissue, and then the pain during puncture is relieved by an effect similar to refrigeration anesthesia.
