PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for manufacturing a stator in a wave winding using a straight-angle conductor. SOLUTION: The device for manufacturing the stator includes a first process for grasping the first straight line SP1 of the straight-angle conductor D by a first straight grasper, grasping the second straight line SP2 of the straight-angle conductor D by a second link plate SL2 adjacently arranged while holding a first joint JP1 forming the first bend B1 of the straight-angle conductor D to a first link plate SL1, and grasping the third straight line SP3 of the straight-angle conductor D by a third link plate SL3 adjacently arranged while holding a second joint JP2 forming the second bend B2 of the straight-angle conductor D to the second link plate SL2, respectively. The device for manufacturing the stator further includes a second process for forming the first bend B1 and the second bend B2 to the straight-angle conductor D by simultaneously moving the first link plate SL1, the second link plate SL2, and the third link plate SL3 connected by links by means of a sliding mechanism including a sliding link LS.
