<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable pull-on garment effectively covering the wearer's buttock while allowing a snug fitting. <P>SOLUTION: The pull-on garment 20 has a waist opening 36 and two leg openings 34, extends in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction, comprises an absorbent body 38 and a ring-like elastic belt 40. The ring-like elastic belt 40 comprises a front belt portion 84 and a back belt portion 86. Each of the ring-like elastic belt has transversely extending proximal and distal edges 90 and 88, side edges, a central panel 80, and right and left side panels 82 contiguous with the central panel. The respective right and left side panels 82 of the front belt portion 84 and the back belt portion 86 are joined together at or adjacent to the respective right and left side edges to form the waist opening 36 and the two leg openings 34.
