<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition for a color filter using a dye, which provides a color filter excellent in light resistance, a color filter, a liquid crystal display device and an organic EL display. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition contains at least (A) a transparent resin, (B) a photopolymerizable monomer, (C) a dye, (D) a photoinitiator, and (E) a solvent, wherein the transparent resin (A) is an acid group-containing compound having an acid value of 80-140 mgKOH/g; the photopolymerizable monomer (B) is contained by 20-50% in the total solid content of the photosensitive composition; and the dye (C) is a triarylmethane dye.
