<p>The method involves operating a measuring cell (11) in an operating potential range in a measuring sector. An electrical signal (B) is detected based on cathodic reduction of chlorine dioxide to chlorite, where the signal is proportional to chlorine dioxide content of aqueous solution (20). Another electrical signal (A) of another measuring cell (1) and the former signal are supplied to a computing circuit. The former signal is subtracted from the latter signal in the computing circuit so as to form a third electrical signal (C) that is proportional to chlorite content of the solution. An independent claim is also included for a chlorite content measuring system for performing a method for continuous determination of chlorite content of aqueous solution.</p> |
