<p>Disclosed is a gas detection device provided with: a laser light source which emits laser light of variable wavelength to an optical waveguide; a bolometer which detects output light from the optical waveguide to obtain a detection signal and has a microbridge structure comprising a temperature detection unit and a dielectric member disposed above the temperature detection unit; a detection unit which detects the type and amount of gas molecules present on the surface of the optical waveguide on the basis of the detection signal and information relating to the wavelength of the laser light source; an optical path length change member which changes the optical path length between the temperature detection unit and the dielectric member; and a drive control circuit which drives and controls the optical path length change member such that the optical path length is an integral multiple of one half of the wavelength of the laser light emitted from the laser light source.</p> |
