The device comprises: a UV radiation lamp source; a selector on the basis of a Czerny-Turner monochromator with Fastie coma compensation having a stepper motor for driving the revolution of a diffraction grating and having a microcontroller; a polarizer; a polarization modulator; a device for arranging a sample in an optically transmissive cuvette; a photomultiplier; a digital recording system. The device for arranging the sample comprises a unit for thermostatically controlling the cuvette and a cuvette compartment which is formed detachably from two halves pressed against one another by a spring with an adjustable force, with a cavity for arranging the cuvette being formed between said two halves, wherein each of the halves is structurally combined with two Peltier elements, a radiator and a heat sensor and is capable of performing a sliding movement relative to the casing of the device.
