PURPOSE: A tidal power generating device is provided to continuously generate power while tidal difference exists since the rise and fall energies of a water tank are increased. CONSTITUTION: A tidal power generating device comprises a basic structure(200), guide posts(20,20a), a water tank(30), rotating rollers(50,50a), ropes(60,60a), an accelerator, a generator and a condenser. The basic structure is firmly installed on the sea floor. The lower ends of the guide posts are fixed to the basic structure at regular intervals. The upper ends of the guide posts are installed to be protruded to the sea surface. The water tank comprises locks(31,31a). The locks control the flow of water by opening and closing. The guide holes(33,33a) of the water tank are inserted into the guide posts so that the water tank lifts from the guide posts according to tidal current.
