PURPOSE: An X-ray imaging apparatus is provided to control the intensity of an X-ray irradiated to an object by filtering the X-ray with different intensity. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray filter unit includes an X-ray filter, a driving unit, a control unit, and a filter fixing unit(134). The X-ray filter unit includes a plurality of X-ray filters(131a,131b). The X-ray filters have different thicknesses. A collimator(112) controls the irradiation range of the X-ray.
