<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger pinching prevention device for a sliding door which can be installed to an existing sliding door of any material, is simple in structure and low in cost, and is reliable and hardly broken. <P>SOLUTION: In a sliding door mechanism comprising a frame and a sliding door openably/closably installed to the frame, a finger pinching prevention member, which is pulled outside the opening/closing track of the sliding door to come into contact with the sliding door when the sliding door is closed and returns into the track by gravity to inhibit the sliding door from being closed completely when the sliding door is released, is installed in the upper part of the frame so as to be hung from two points located inside and outside a room in the direction of interrupting the opening/closing track of the sliding door, whereby it is useful to surely prevent finger pinching at a low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
