摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ITO (indium tin oxide) powder which is minute, has high crystallinity and allows an electrically conductive coating film etc. with excellent transparency to be formed and to provide a transparent electrically conductive composition including the ITO powder and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The ITO powder is characterized in that specific surface area is 55 m<SP>2</SP>/g or more, and dry powder has a bright yellow color tone or half-value width of a peak of a (222) face in a X-ray diffraction chart is 0.6 or below. The transparent electrically conductive composition including the ITO powder is also provided. The method for producing the ITO powder by calcining coprecipitated hydroxide of indium and tin is characterized in that a bivalent tin compound is used and hydroxide of indium and tin, dried powder of which has a color tone of bright yellow to yellowish brown, is coprecipitated at pH of 4.0 to 9.3 and liquid temperature of 5&deg;C or above and then the hydroxide is calcined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
