PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image measuring instrument which can designate many elements easily on the basis of the image of each element displayed on a display means. SOLUTION: The image measuring instrument 1 includes an imaging unit 2 and a control unit 3. The control unit 3 includes a control unit body 4, the display means 5, and an operation means 6. The control unit body 4 includes an element information acquisition unit 41 for acquiring information on a plurality of elements as objects to be measured on the basis of an image of an object under measurement imaged by the imaging unit 2, an element image display unit 42 for making the display means 5 display the image of each element on the basis of the information on each element acquired by the element information acquisition unit 41, and a specified element setting unit 44 for setting each element included in the predetermined range as a specified element when a predetermined range in the image of each element is selected through the operation means 6.
