PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition for an optical material, which gives a cured material having excellent transparency, high heat resistance, high hardness and good mold releasability. SOLUTION: The curable composition for an optical material has a curable composition containing, as essential components, (A) an organic compound including at least two carbon-carbon double bonds each having reactivity with SiH group in one molecule, (B) a compound including at least two SiH groups in one molecule, (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst, and (D) a fluorine-containing compound, wherein the content of a siloxane component (-Si-O-) contained in the (A) and (B) components is≤50 wt.% to the total amount of the (A) and (B) components.
