Problem: A control apparatus for an AC rotary machine, in which even under a temperature change of the AC rotary machine, a large change in the amplitude of an AC phase current is suppressed, and the AC rotary machine can be stably started, is proposed. Means for Resolution: Control means are configured so as to perform controls including a start control for an AC rotary machine, the control means operate in the start control to calculate a resistance drop component corresponding to the resistance drop of the AC rotary machine on the basis of a detection current, and to adjust the angular frequency of the AC output voltage on the basis of a subtraction value obtained by subtracting the resistance drop signal from the voltage command, and simultaneously, the control means operate in the start control to adjust the amplitude of the AC output voltage so that the amplitude of an AC phase current may change in conformity with a predetermined function. |
