PURPOSE: A method for receiving location information in a digital photographing apparatus is provided to use location information without an additional GPS(Global Positioning System) module. CONSTITUTION: A method for receiving location information in a digital photographing apparatus comprises the steps of: entering a location information acquisition mode; transferring a location information request message through a channel for searching for a peripheral Bluetooth apparatus; receiving a location information file generated from the searched peripheral Bluetooth apparatus; and inserting the received location information file to an image file photographed in a digital photographing apparatus(200).
