PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly notify a driver of a remaining time until a signal state is changed even with a sensitive traffic light. SOLUTION: A stop time notification device (10) includes: a remaining time calculating means (109) which calculates a change amount of a remaining time based on updated signal cycle information in such a state that the signal cycle information has been updated after a driver is notified of the remaining time of a red signal, a determination means (109) which determines whether or not a change amount that has been calculated is larger than a predetermined threshold; and a control means (109) which controls notification means (106 and 114) so as to notify the driver of the remaining time added with the calculated change amount when the calculated change amount is determined to be larger than the predetermined threshold, and controls the notification means so as to complete the notification of the remaining time before a time at which the calculated change amount which is calculated at a first prescribed time prior to a time point when a light color of a signal is changed from red to blue when it is determined that the calculated change amount is smaller than the prescribed threshold.
