PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporter for a lateral pipe which supporter is adjusted in height easily, and does not cause such a problem that a hazardous bolt front end sticks out at execution of work, thus offers high safety and superior constructibility. SOLUTION: The supporter includes a pipe holding portion 2 which elastically holds the outer circumferential surface of a pipe P1 inserted from a pipe insertion opening 21 into the pipe holding portion 2, and a support 3a having a first support portion 31 and a second support portion 32. The first support portion 31 is fitted slidably into the second support portion 32, and any one of a plurality of slots 31a formed on the first support portion 31 is superposed on a hole 32a of the second support portion 32. An engaging portion 42 of a metal fixture 4a is then inserted in the superposed hole 32a and slot 31a.
