PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition that is excellent in balance of hardness, flexibility, and wear resistance in a shorter kneading time than that of the conventional one. SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains: 100 pts.mass of a polymer composition that contains 5-95 mass% of a modified conjugated diene-based polymer (A) in which a conjugated diene-based compound is modified, and 95-5 mass% of a conjugated diene-based copolymer (B) comprising a conjugated diene-based compound, in which the content of an aromatic vinyl compound is≥40 mass%, and an aromatic vinyl-based compound; and 1-150 pts.mass of an inorganic filler (C). The modified conjugated diene-based polymer (A) satisfies the following conditions (1)-(3), that is: (1) the modified conjugated diene-based polymer is modified by a compound having an amino group and an alkoxysilyl group in its molecules; (2) the modification ratio calculated by an amount of adsorption to columns measured by gel permeation chromatography using silica-particle packed columns is≥70 mass%; and (3) the Mooney viscosity measured at 100°C is 45-95.
