PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straw capable of producing new texture by continuing the texture of foam. SOLUTION: An intake hole 5 is provided in the straw 1 having a diameter in the range 4-6 mm, and the size of the intake hole 5 is set so that the suction amount of a beverage when sucking the beverage having a viscosity of 220 mPa s at 2 ml/s suction speed becomes in the range of 40-90% for the suction amount of the beverage when the intake hole 5 is not provided.
