PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive novel motor of small size and light weight, which has a three or more phase-driving structure in which a rotor and a stator are arranged opposite to each other. SOLUTION: The novel motor 1a is constructed by: circumferentially arranging multiple magnetic pole groups 32 each comprised of four or more magnetic poles 32a to 32d arranged in the radial direction on either of the rotors 3a, 3b and the stator 4a arranged opposite to each other in the direction of a motor shaft 2; concentrically arranging excitation coils 8u to 8w in three or more phases on the stator 4a; arranging multiple magnetic poles 11u to 11w, 12u to 12w in the radial direction, which form magnetic pole pairs 10u to 10w in the respective phases, on the other of the rotors 3a, 3b and the stator 4a so that the adjoining magnetic poles 12u and 11v and 12v and 11w between coils 8u to 8w are magnetically coupled together; and magnetically coupling together the magnetic poles 32a to 32d or the magnetic poles 11u to 11w, 12u to 12w.
