<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device satisfying both a sense of unity between an opaque enclosure and a semitransparent window and the visibility of an image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device 200 includes the semitransparent window 120 of specific semitransparent coloring, disposed in a position confronting the image display device 110 for displaying/outputting an image by light emission. The opaque enclosure 130 of opaque coloring is positioned around the semitransparent window 120. A semitransparent reflector 210 of 25-75% optical reflectivity is positioned in a gap between the front face of the display device 110 and the rear face of the semitransparent window 120. While light is not emitted by the display device 110, rays of light passing through the semitransparent window 120 from the exterior are reflected by the semitransparent reflector 210 to pass through the semitransparent window 120 again. Therefore, passing through the semitransparent window two times causes the semitransparent window 120 to be visually recognized as having developed the same color as the surrounding opaque enclosure 130 has. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
