<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image-forming system capable of reading, efficiently and without any difficulty, radiation image information recorded on a radiation conversion panel. <P>SOLUTION: When a cassette detection sensor 44 or panel detection sensors 58a to 58d detect that a cassette 24 is loaded in a reader 26 or a storage type phosphor panel P is housed in the reader 26, an X-ray source controller 22 inhibits the radiation of X-rays by an X-ray source 16, and thereby the occurrence of fog on the storage type phosphor panel P is avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
