ELECTROACTIVATED PEPTIDES AND BIOSENSORS

Electroactive peptides and dynamically functionalized surfaces are provided, A surface can be dynamically patterned with both temporal and spatial control provided by electrically-activated pixels for binding and debinding of peptide linkers. Also, electroactive peptides are provided that can be used for dynamically functionalized surfaces, providing self-cleaning capability of fouled surfaces. Two methods for manufacturing electroactivc peptides arc provided, an electro-release biopanning protocol and an electro-elution biopanning protocol.
