An electrical connector includes a first connector connected to a first board, a second connector connected to a second board, the boards being electrically connected by mating the connectors in a predetermined direction; a first reinforcing member embedded on a surface of the first connector, opposite a mating surface of the first connector, with the second connector so that the first reinforcing member reinforces the first connector. The first reinforcing member includes a body; a joining portion provided on the body at one side thereof to be joined to the first board and extending in the predetermined direction; and an engaging portion engaged with the first connector, and defined by a cutout formed at the body to extend in the predetermined direction from an opposite side of the body to the one side of the body. The reinforcing member is attached to the connector. |
