Disclosed is a lighting device capable of suppressing un-even brightness. The lighting device is provided with LEDs (17), a chassis (14) housing the LEDs (17), and a chassis reflective sheet (22) capable of reflecting light from the LEDs (17) and disposed on the inner surface of the chassis (14). The LEDs (17) are disposed on the bottom plate (14a) of the chassis (14). The chassis reflective sheet (22) has a bottom section (31) extending along the bottom plate (14a), and slanted sections (32) extending from the periphery of the bottom section (31); the slanted sections (32) are slanted relative to the bottom section (31) in the direction facing the light-emitting side of the LEDs (17), and the borderlines (L) of the bottom section (31) and the slanted sections (32) are not rectilinear in planar view.
