CONDENSED WATER DISCHARGE APPARATUS OF MUFFLER

PURPOSE: A device for discharging condensate from a muffler is provided to prevent the corrosion of a muffler and to extend the lifetime of the muffler since an engine and the muffler are cooled and thus condensate in the muffler is smoothly discharged to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A device for discharging condensate from a muffler comprises a through hole, an intake pipe(110), a discharge pipe(120), an thermoelectric element(114) and a control valve(200). The through hole is formed on the bottom of a muffler case(100). The intake pipe is communicated with the muffler case and inhales exhaust gas. The discharge pipe is communicated to discharge the exhaust gas from the muffler case to the outside. The thermoelectric element is mounted on the intake pipe. The control valve is installed on the through hole to be able to selectively open/close the through hole during the movement and stop of a vehicle. The shape of the control valve changes according to the temperature in the case.
