PURPOSE: A large gate valve capable of easily operating a handle is provided to enable a user to easily operate the gate valve installed over the eye level of the user. CONSTITUTION: A large gate valve capable of easily operating a handle comprises a body(10), a disc(30), a screw(20), a yoke(40), and a handle(50). A flange(11) is formed in the entrance of the body so that the body can be installed between conduct lines. A placing unit(12) is formed in the body. The disk is placed on the placing unit of the body. The screw is connected to the top of the disc and vertically moves the disc. The yoke is fixed to the top of the placing unit and supports the vertically moving screw. A sleeve(51) is installed between the yoke and the screw. The handle vertically moves the screw.
