<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously manufacture an image display apparatus employing a roll sheet, which is a roll of an optical film where defect information is printed as markings, and which hardly causes defects due to transfer of irregular deformation in the marking regions. <P>SOLUTION: A method is provided for manufacturing an image display apparatus obtained by continuously laminating optical film sheets including polarizers on an optical display unit, and employs the roll sheet obtained, by rolling a long-length sheet of the optical film where the defect information is printed as the markings. Preferably, the roll sheet has a width corresponding to a length of long or short sides of the optical display unit, and the optical density of the markings formed on the optical film is ≥1.5; and the thickness of a marking center portion is ≤1.5 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
