发明名称 METHOD FOR DESULFURIZING MOLTEN IRON
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurizing method in which desulfurizing CaO efficiency is not lowered even in a low sulfur zone, in a desulfurizing treatment for blowing CaO-based desulfurizing material at high speed. SOLUTION: In the desulfurizing method, after adding metal Al to the molten iron, the desulfurizing material which has≥90 mass% CaO concentration and whose constitution ratio of powder having≥5μm to <50μm grain size is≥50%, is blown into the molten iron by an injecting system. Preferably, blowing rate of the desulfurizing material into the molten iron is 100-300 kg/min. In the desulfurization of the injecting system, since the desulfurization can be performed in a short period of time without lowering the desulfurizing CaO efficiency, the effects such as the shortening of the desulfurizing treatment time, the reduction of refining cost and the reduction of the slag discharge quantity, can be enjoyed.
